I am a science communication specialist with a particular interest in instructional & experiential design. Currently, I'm an Instructional Design Specialist at Actua.
I believe tools from the humanities and from STEM must be used in tandem to solve our world's increasingly complex problems. I'm a generalist at heart and love project-based learning.
From designing exhibits and programs for the brand-new Canada Science and Technology Museum to directing the communications for the award-winning Pelling Lab, my career has spanned some amazing organizations.
I am the creator of SciComm School, a science communication program with the University of Ottawa for Canadians from coast to coast. I am most proud to have founded and led Pulsar Collective, a non-profit which advocates for gender equality in STEM as Executive Director.
